Zoltina's Prize was quick to begin. Jesterday was slow to begin. Linny Morris and Patch Lane collided soon after the start. Landmark, Zoltina's Prize and Zoltina's Legacy collided on the first turn, severely checking Landmark. Patch Lane checked off Jesterday on the home turn. Patch Lane raced wide as a result. Zoltina's Prize faltered and raced wide on the home turn and collided with Landmark. Zoltina's Prize subsequently tailed off.
Zoltina's Prize was vetted follwing the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, a ninety day stand down period was imposed.
