Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Emperor Cruz.
Bangor Glynis and Jessio Fozzio were quick to begin. Audacious Mickan was slow to begin. Son Of Steve and Jessio Fozzio collided soon after the start checking Jessio Fozzio. Son Of Steve and Excuse Me Baby collided approaching the first turn causing Son Of Steve to check off Emperor Cruz; Son Of Steve and Excuse Me Baby were checked as a result. Son Of Steve galloped on the heels of Emperor Cruz on the first turn checking Emperor Cruz, Son Of Steve and Excuse Me Baby and causing Special Member to race wide. Excuse Me Baby checked off Son Of Steve on the home turn. Special Member and Son Of Steve collided entering the home straight.
Excuse Me Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind toe fracture. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
