Mr. P. Lambert was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers for the greyhound Burra Blue pursuant to GAR 33.
Claretown Milo was slow to begin.
Onya Splash and Banging Awesome crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Run Cecil Run, Mahogany Royale, Claretown Milo, Not Done Yet and Burra Blue. Burra Blue, Mahogany Royale and Run Cecil Run collided on the first turn checking Mahogany Royale and Burra Blue. Burra Blue faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result.
Burra Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and split webbing to the left hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Mahogany Royale - unplaced in the event.
