Mahogany Bart and Mr. Shaw collided soon after the start. Bound For Vegas checked off Depablo approaching the home turn. Bound For Vegas galloped on the heels of Depablo approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Lena Allen and Mr. Shaw collided approaching the home turn checking Mr. Shaw. Mahogany Bart checked off Just Vivacious approaching the home turn checking Lena Allen and severely checking Just Vivacious. Mahogany Bart and Mr. Shaw collided approaching the home turn checking Mr. Shaw. Depablo raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Depablo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both thighs. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
