This race was hand started due to an earlier malfunction with the boxes.
Amy Special and Bomber Jack were slow to begin.
Flashing Bessy and Lassurge collided soon after the start. Lassurge checked off Flashing Bessy on the first turn. Bomber Jack checked off Amy Special approaching the second turn.
Lassurge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was displaying signs of thumps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
