Where's Mambo and Odd Future collided soon after the start. Pete's Revenge and Rockafella collided soon after the start checking Pete's Revenge. Instigator and Rockafella collided on the first turn. Pete's Revenge, Odd Future and Extra Classy collided on the first turn severely checking Extra Classy and Odd Future, both greyhounds fell as a result. Fawn Caviar and Where's Mambo collided on the home turn.
