George Sannette and Bahama Bay were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. George Sannette and Velloway collided approaching the first turn. Deano's Gadget checked off Governor Bale approaching the first turn. Deano's Gadget checked off George Sannette on the first turn. George Sannette checked off Velloway approaching the home turn, checking Bahama Bay and Deano's Gadget.
Deano's Gadget was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed.
