A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Peggy Dooley a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Lektra Sunset, Limburg Boyker and Rock Lion were slow to begin. Gold Bro and Rock Lion collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Sunset checked off Wince Allen on the first turn, checking Lady Camelot, Gold Bro, Rock Lion and severely checking Lektra Sunset. Limburg Boyker checked off Wince Allen approaching the home turn.
Lektra Sunset was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
