Nessie Allen, Destini Scorcher, Trewmann and Lektra Uncut were slow to begin.  Destini Scorcher and Trewmann collided approaching the first turn.  Sisco Mama, Bryden Johnny and Zipping Dee collided approaching the first turn checking Bryden Johnny and Zipping Dee.  Sisco Mama, Bryden Johnny, Trewmann and Lektra Uncut collided on the first turn checking Bryden Johnny, Trewmann and Lektra Uncut.  Nessie Allen, Lyka Allen and Zipping Dee collided approaching the home turn checking Lyka Allen and Zipping Dee.  Lyka Allen, Destini Scorcher and Zipping Dee collided approaching the home turn.  Bryden Johnny and Trewmann collided on the home turn.  Destini Scorcher marred the running of Nessie Allen in the home straight checking Nessie Allen.  Zipping Dee eased approaching the winning post.

Destini Scorcher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.   Stewards spoke to Mr D. Choules, Handler of Destini Scorcher.  Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Destini Scorcher with marring.  Mr Choules pleaded guilty to the charge, Destini Scorcher was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Dee was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 3.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor spike wounds and an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Ms C. Jones, Trainer of Zipping Dee.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), Stewards charged Zipping Dee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Dee was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Peggy Dooley and Master Bekim were slow to begin.  Gia and Go Go Rosco collided approaching the first turn.  Tronnie Oldfield, Peggy Dooley and Master Bekim collided on the first turn checking Tronnie Oldfield and Master Bekim.  Why Not Sue checked off Go Go Rosco on the third turn checking Tronnie Oldfield, Peggy Dooley and Master Bekim.  

Zipping Simmo and Be Two Bomber were slow to begin.  Fantastic Sid crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Memphis Jookin'.  Memphis Jookin' checked off Mr. Make Believe on the first turn.  Mr. Make Believe and Zipping Simmo collided in the back straight.  Fantastic Sid and Nila Bale collided on the home turn checking Nila Bale.  Zipping Simmo checked off Lakeview Harley entering the home straight.

Charleston and Supreme Deal were slow to begin.  Iyliss Bale and Willowvale Hawk collided approaching the first turn.  Charleston, Iyliss Bale and Willowvale Hawk collided on the first turn, severely checking all three greyhounds.  Iyliss Bale stumbled as a result.

Iyliss Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Spring Trail, It's A Blast and What's Chewing were slow to begin.  It's A Blast and What's Chewing collided soon after the start.  It's A Blast and Grand Intention collided on the first turn.  Perfect Tess and Trace Amount collided entering the front straight.  Mystic Twist checked off Yadi approaching the second turn.  What's Chewing checked off Perfect Tess approaching the second turn.  Perfect Tess and Trace Amount collided on the second turn, Trace Amount fell as a result severely checking Grand Intention which raced wide.  What's Chewing checked off Perfect Tess on the third turn.  Spring Trail checked off Mystic Twist on the fourth turn.

What's Chewing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle muscle, right hock and right calf muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Trace Amount was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injiury found.

A sample was taken from Yadi, the winner of the event.

Margins, Unlawful Entry and Gaucho were slow to begin.  Unlawful Entry and Gaucho collided several times soon after the start to approaching the first turn.  Waymore's Blues and Lamia Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Unlawful Entry checked off Texas Titan on the first turn checking Lamia Bale and Waymore's Blues.  Shared Equity and Dalgetty collided several times on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Shared Equity.  Margins and Gaucho collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Shared Equity and Margins collided in the back straight.  Shared Equity and Gaucho collided on the third turn checking Gaucho.

Hard Bargain and Letron James were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Blue Revolver crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Armagh and Dynamic Punch.  Our Zayney Nash and Hard Bargain collided on the first turn causing Letron James to race wide.  Blue Revolver and Rocka Hula Baby collided approaching the second turn.  Bucky Boy checked off Dynamic Punch on the second turn.  Our Zayney Nash and Hard Bargain collided on the third turn.

Udon Bale was slow to begin.  Hush Now, Brown Bomber and Igor Karkaroff collided approaching the first turn checking Brown Bomber.  Igor Karkaroff and Smiley Sam collided on the first turn checking Smiley Sam. Soda Man was vetted prior to the running of this event and was passed fit to compete.

Two Teams Umpire was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race.  Acting under GAR 83, Stewards directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.
