Stewards spoke to Mr A Marum, the trainer of Bounda's Storm regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bounda's Storm last raced on 18/05/15. Mr Marum stated that Bounda's Storm was returning to race after a spell. Stewards noted Mr Marum's explanation.

Mr A Marum, trainer of Bounda's Storm declared a new weight of 37.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bounda's Storm last raced at 35.0kg.

Rance Regstrong was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right nostril, a 3 day stnad down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Donaldson, the trainer of She's Yours regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  She's Yours last raced on 21/05/15. Mr Donaldson stated that She's Your's was returning to race after a change of kennel and a new trainer.  Stewards noted Mr Donaldson's explanation.

A pre race sample taken from Bronte's Gift was aborted due to contamination.

Zafonic Zjahdi, Mr. Stealer and Soul Affair collided soon after the start checking Mr. Stealer. Unexcusable, Specify and Dark Spida collided on the first turn checking Unexcusable, Bronte's Gift and Mr. Stealer causing Bronte's Gift to tail off. Bronte's Gift was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left hock, and was humanely euthanised. Subsequently no post race sample was obtained from the greyhound.

Mr Uglietta stated that Rosetta's Junior had been nominated multiple times but been unable to gain a start. Stewards noted Mr Uglietta's explanation.
