Track Curator B. Skurrie advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 28/11/2016.
A pre-race sample was taken from Nature's Gent.
John John Lava and Grand Maximus were slow to begin.
Allen Mike and Grand Maximus collided approaching the first turn. Grand Maximus galloped on Nature's Gent on the first turn checking both greyhounds. John John Lava checked off Alpha Castor on the first turn checking Allen Mike which collided with Nature;s Gent, severely checking Allen Mike, Grand Maximus and Nature's Gent, Nature's Gent stumbled and Grand Maximus lost ground as a result. Allen Mike and Nature's Gent collided on the second turn checking Allen Mike. Alpha Castor and He's Loaded collided approaching the home turn.
