Track Curator B. Skurrie advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 28/11/2016.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nature's Gent.

John John Lava and Grand Maximus were slow to begin.

Allen Mike and Grand Maximus collided approaching the first turn.  Grand Maximus galloped on Nature's Gent on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  John John Lava checked off Alpha Castor on the first turn checking Allen Mike which collided with Nature;s Gent, severely checking Allen Mike, Grand Maximus and Nature's Gent, Nature's Gent stumbled and Grand Maximus lost ground as a result.  Allen Mike and Nature's Gent collided on the second turn checking Allen Mike.  Alpha Castor and He's Loaded collided approaching the home turn.

Hit The Runway was slow to begin.

Sanz Marlow and Carry On Quinney collided soon after the start.  Bucky Barnes and Carry On Pendles collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Sanz Marlow checked off Carry On Quinney on the first turn.  Carry On Pendles and Sanz Marlow collided on the first turn. Galloping Fantom and Carry On Quinney collided on the first turn checking Galloping Fantom.  Rock Up Top and Crimson Sally collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Bucky Barnes checked off Galloping Fantom on the second turn which collided with Carry On Pendles.  Bucky Barnes brushed the running rail on the third turn.  Rock Up Top and Crimson Sally collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight

A sample was taken from Carry On Quinney - winner of the event.

Bucky Barnes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained inflammation to the left metacarpal injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

King Fipa and What's In Store were slow to begin.

Miss Morrisset, King Fipa and What's In Store collided soon after the start.  One Required and Two Dollar Pots collided on the first turn checking One required.  Riveting galloped on One Required on the first turn severely checking One Required which checked Riveting and King Fipa.  Crump's Beauty and Miss Morrisset collided on the first turn.  Mc Fipa and Miss Morrisset collided on the third turn.  Miss Morrisset and King Fipa collided entering the home straight.  

A sample was taken from Two Dollar Pots - winner of the event.

Leopardstown, Shimmey and Jet Setting were slow to begin.

Andy Jay and Burekup Jack collided soon after the start.  Leopardstown, Miss Bo Wicked and Shimmey collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Bo Wicked and Shimmey.  Miss Bo Wicked and Shimmey collided on the first turn checking Shimmey.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dundee Osprey.

Dundee Osprey, Brazen Bomber and Dublin Bull were slow to begin.

Dyna Maddie and Dundee Osprey collided soon after the start.  Trip To Eden, Dyna Maddie, Dundee Osprey, Poljuice Potion, Shakey Jet, Dublin Bull and White Bandit collided approaching the first turn checking Shakey Jet, Brazen Bomber and Dyna Maddie.  Trip To Eden and Dundee Osprey collided on the first turn.  Dundee Osprey and Dublin Bull collided entering the front straight and again approaching the second turn.  Polijuice Potion and White Bandit collided on the second turn.  Dublin Bull and White Bandit collided entering the home straight.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from He's A Boomer engaged in this event on 30/11/2016 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lithgow Panther.

Dash Of Rose was quick to begin.  Paraphernalia and He's A Boomer were slow to begin.

Aeroplane Tommy, Dyna Boomer, Lithgow Panther, Bruce Tycoon and He's A Boomer collided approaching the first turn checking Aeroplane Tommy, Dyna Boomer, Lithgow Panther and Paraphernalia.  Bruce Tycoon and He's A Boomer collided on the first turn.  Dyna Boomer and Lithgow Panther collided on the second turn and again entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.

Bruce Tycoon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small wound on left foreleg, no stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bulkender.

Allen Marky and Buck Forty were slow to begin.

Bulkender, Rack Tap Rack, Ramifications and Dennis Gallon collided approaching the first turn checking Ramifications.  Coalville Tiger and Dennis Gallon collided on the second turn.  Rack Tap Rack checked off Coalville Tiger on the fourth turn.  Dennis Gallon and Star Torana collided on the fourth turn.  Ramifications and Dennis Gallon collided approaching the home turn.

Demon Bale and Matt Machine collided soon after the start.  Absolute Silence and Demon Bale collided soon after the start checking Eren Bale and Allen Kempo.  Harbormaster and Allen Kempo collided approaching the first turn.  Eren Bale checked off Allen Kempo on the first turn.  Harbormaster, Allen Kempo and Absolute Silence collided on the first turn checking Harbormaster, Allen Kempo and severely checking Absolute Silence which caused Absolute Silence to fall.  Marley Bale and Matt Machine collided approaching the second turn checking Matt Machine.  Marley Bale and Matt Machine collided approaching the home turn.

Absolute Silence was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Juggler checked off Electromagnetic soon after the start.  Rippin Rose and Magical Bling collided approaching the first turn.  Rippin Rose and Electromagnetic collided approaching the first turn.  Helma Bale and Electromagnetic collided on the first turn.  Helma Bale, Electromagnetic, Rippin Rose and Lightning Frank collided on the first turn checking Lightning Frank, Electromagnetic, Dyna Juggler and severely checking Rippin Rose.  Peachy and Magical Bling collided on the second turn checking Peachy.  Helma Bale and Peachy collided approaching the home turn.

Precipitation was slow to begin.

Repelo Muggletum and King Kai collided soon after the start.  Dusty Roy and Shanlyn Percy collided soon after the start.  Taabinga Flash and Repelo Muggletum collided approaching the first turn.  Precipitation, Repelo Muggletum, Dusty Roy and Kwazii collided on the first turn checking Dusty Roy, Taabinga Flash, Repelo Muggletum and Kwazii  Media Street, Kig Kai and Shanlyn Percy collided on the first turn.  King Kai galloped on Shanlyn Percy on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  King Kai, Dusty Roy and Shanlyn Percy collided on the second turn checking King Kai, Dusty Roy and Taabinga Flash.  Taaabinga Flash checked off Dusty Roy on the second turn.  Precipitation checked off Media Street on the second turn.  Kwazii galloped on Precipitation on the thir turn checking both gryhounds.  Dusty Roy checked off King Kai approaching the home turn.  Taabinga Flash veered in and marred Shanlyn Percy on the home turn.

Taabinga Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J Connor, the trainer of the greyhound Taabinga Flash regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Taabinga Flash with marring. Mr Connor pleaded guilty to the charge, Taabinga Flash was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Media Street - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J Connor, the trainer of Taabinga Flash regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. Mr Connor stated that he was indisposed, stewards noted his explanation and issued a severe reprimand.

A pre-race sample was taken from Seabrook Sam.

Seabrook was slow to begin.

Mepunga Joffa crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Woofa Combo and severely checking Tedesco.  Conquer Fear and Seabrook Sam collided approaching the first turn.  Woofa Combo checked off Mepunga Joffa on the first turn.  Tedesco and Woofa Combo collided approaching the second turn.  Tedesco checked off Dream Edition on the third turn checking Tedesco and Seabrook Sam.  Woofa Combo checked off Tedesco entering the home straight.  Woofa Combo, Conquer Fear and Seabrook Sam collided in the home straight and all three greyhound’s raced wide.

Brolly Bale was quick to begin.  Eddie Eagle was slow to begin.

Eddie Eagle, Ikaika Warrior and Rockstar Troy collided soon after the start.  Sacramento Sal and Rockstar Troy collided on the first turn.  Where Art Thou checked off Expecto Patronum on the first turn checking Eddie Eagle.  Ikaika Warrior and Tear It Down collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Sacramento Sal checked off Rockstar Troy on the third turn.  Eddie Eagle and Tear It Down collided on the third turn checking Eddie Eagle.  Ikaika Warrior and Tear It Down collided on the home turn.  Where Art Thou and Expecto Patronum collided in the home straight.
