Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Crymelon Jato and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:15am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. I. Bibby was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hillbilly Hell.
Tri Code Saint was quick to begin. Full Blown Turbo and Why Not George were slow to begin. Full Blown Turbo, Flaming Causeway and Mrs. Fozz collided approaching the first turn. Full Blown Turbo checked off Tri Code Saint on the first turn. Why Not George raced wide in the home straight. Full Blown Turbo and Hillbilly Hell collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. A. Marum regarding the direction that the greyhound Tri Code Saint be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Steewards directed that this box first be removed.
