Colour Code was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Severus Grange and Turanza Bonanza collided approaching the first turn checking Turanza Bonanza. Infinite Assasin and Severus Grange collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Turanza Bonanza checked off Infinite Assassin approaching the home turn. Easy As and Severus Grange collided in the home straight.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Matthews, the trainer of Violets For Suzy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Violets For Suzy last raced on 17th April, 2016. Mr. Matthews stated that the greyhound was returning to his kennels following a stint interstate. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Violets For Suzy trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 26.0kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.65, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.25lengths. Violets For Suzy was Cleared.
