A pre-race sample was taken from Wild Angel.
Captain Cranky and Good Girl Sandy were quick to begin. Dusty Leads was slow to begin. Motivate Her and Rockin' Roller collided approaching the first turn checking Rockin' Roller. Motivate Her and Born Molly collided on the first turn checking Born Molly. Dusty Leads raced wide on the first turn checking Rockin' Roller. Wild Angel and Captain Cranky collided entering the back straight severely checking Captain Cranky which stumbled checking Mighty Mish. Mighty Mish and Born Molly collided in the back straight and again approaching the home turn.
