Maximum Dos was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, right pencil and left nail, and a spike wound to the left front foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Rampant Jack was quick to begin.  Myrniong Smello went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Maximum Gift and Aruma Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Maximum Gift and Scarlet Blu Boy collided on the first turn, checking Scarlet Blu Boy,  Da Bont checked off Hydepark Flyer approaching the home turn, checking Maximum Gift.  Myrniong Smello and Hydepark Flyer collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Hydepark Flyer.

Ha Ha Gotcha and Tear Away Socks were slow to begin. Sparkling Jewels, Maximum Moo and Milly's Choice collided approaching the home turn, checking Milly's Choice, Ha Ha Gotcha and Gold Attraction, and severely checking Tear Away Socks and Maximum Moo. Stewards spoke to Mrs. P. Bouchier, the trainer of Boo Shey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Boo Shey last raced on 27th May, 2016.  Mrs. Bouchier stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Gurry, the trainer of Kirabilli Lucy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Kirabilly Lucy last raced on 23rd June, 2016.  Ms. Gurry stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a shoulder injury.

Taylor Made Dee and Heat Up collided approaching the first turn, checking Taylor Made Dee. Ben's Talon checked off Kirabilli Lucy approaching the first turn. Taylor Made Dee contacted the running rail on the first turn. Kirabilli Lucy and Sabjorn Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Kirabilli Lucy.
