Amlin Jewel was slow to begin. Coli's Girl checked off Shifty Joshua soon after the start and crossed to the outside as a result. Lil' Scallywag and Gunner Molloy collided at the 250 metre mark. Amlin Jewel, Shifty Joshua and Mr. McGee collided at the 150 metre mark checking Mr. McGee. Gunner Molloy and Dodge The Cop collided at the 50 metre mark.
Mr. McGee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
