Belena Prince and Hashtag Danny were slow to begin. Zelemar Zing checked off Noaki Lynx soon after the start. Zelemar Zing checked off One Step Beyond approaching the first turn, checking Belena Prince. Belena Prince checked off Hashtag Danny on the first turn. One Step Beyond raced wide in the home straight.
Belena Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and right quadriceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
