Stewards spoke to and issued a warning to Mr. N. Partridge the handler of Lucky Brew after he retrieved the incorrect greyhound from the kennels prior to the event.  

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr. R. Rea and reminded him of his responsibilities after the greyhound Sub Zero Magic was incorrectly retrieved from its kennel prior to the race. Mr. Rea was reminded to ensure that he is presented with and views the kennel ticket prior to opening the kennel. This matter was referred to the Club Manager. 

Xylem Hay and Little Hemi were quick to begin. Tally Ho Betty was slow to begin. Farce Allen checked off Xylem Hay approaching the first turn. Ava's Girl checked off Just Smile approaching the first turn. Xylem Hay checked off Good Memories approaching the first turn. Good Memories checked off Little Hemi on the first turn, checking Xylem Hay and Just Smile. Tally Ho Betty checked off Farce Allen approaching the home turn. Xylem Hay and Just Smile collided approaching the home turn, checking Just Smile. Xylem Hay and Just Smile collided on the home turn.

Cheryl's Boy was slow to begin. Hy Guard checked off Dynamic Spin approaching the first turn. Snow Boots and Dynamic Spin collided approaching the first turn, and again approaching the home turn, checking Dynamic Spin. 

Let's Go Racing was a late scratching at 9:26am due to a shoulder injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Tear Away Moon was quick to begin. Allen Jeer and Jarleth were slow to begin. Allen Jeer and Hush Now collided on the first turn, checking Allen Jeer. Taz's Man galloped on the heels of Allen Jeer approaching the home turn, checking Taz's Man. Tear Away Moon checked off Il Bacaro entering the home straight, checking World Of Noise.

Come On Lassy and Aston Odious were quick to begin. Fred Of Lidsdale, Velvet Hammer and Zelemar Joker collided soon after the start, checking Fred Of Lidsdale and Velvet Hammer. Crackerjack Pest checked off Come On Lassy approaching the first turn, checking Zelemar Joker. Zelemar Joker checked off Crackerjack Pest on the first turn. Velvet Hammer checked off Babs Bale on the first turn. Come On Lassy and Aston Odious collided several times from the first turn to the home turn. Come On Lassy, Aston Odious, Crackerjack Pest and Fred Of Lidsdale collided on the home turn, checking Come On Lassy, Zelemar Joker, Fred Of Lidsdale and Cobalt Mist, and causing Crackerjack Pest to fall. Cobalt Mist and Fred Of Lidsdale collided several times in the home straight, checking Fred Of Lidsdale. 

Crackerjack Pest was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and left quadriceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Cudgee George last raced on the 4th January, 2015.  Mr Hunt stated that Cudgee George was returning to race after suffering a right hock injury. Stewards noted Mr Hunt's explanation.

Classic Caper was slow to begin. Betty Baker and Cudgee George collided soon after the start, checking Cudgee George. Hunter Rocks crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Vapour Caper, Classic Caper and India Pale. Classic Caper checked off My Girl Chloe approaching the first turn. Classic Caper checked off Hunter Rocks on the first turn. Vapour Caper checked off India Pale on the first turn. Hunter Rocks and Betty Baker collided approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn, checking Betty Baker. Classic Caper and India Pale collided entering the home straight.

Cudgee George was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Reignlee, Ginger Warrior and Stefanovic collided soon after the start, checking Stefanovic, and severely checking Ginger Warrior, which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Jasmine Lilly checked off Stefanovic on the first turn. Maximum Kick checked off Maximum Owie on the first turn. Chatterbox Ella and Reignlee collided several times approaching the home turn to the home turn. Chatterbox Ella, Reignlee, Maximum Owie and Benny Big Head collided in the home straight, checking Maximum Owie. Chatterbox Ella, Reignlee and Stefanovic collided in the home straight, checking Chatterbox Ella and Reignlee. Maximum Kick checked off Jasmine Lilly in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D Drew, the trainer of Lonesome Boy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lonesome Boy last raced on the 13th May, 2015.  Mr Drew stated that Lonesome Boy was returning to race after suffering a achillies injury.  Stewards noted Mr Drew's explanation.

Courtesy was slow to begin. Lonesome Boy went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Courtesy and Crackerjack Andy collided soon after the start. Illusive Allen, Megan Keeping, Villainous and Despedida collided soon after the start, checking Illusive Allen and Villainous. Lonesome Boy checked off Villainous approaching the first turn. All Over and Megan Keeping collided on the first turn, checking All Over. Lonesome Boy raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Outlaw Clyde was a late scratching at 6:08pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing on the right front foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Gallo Allen and Gwen's Pick were slow to begin. Ginto Zac checked off Fascinated approaching the first turn. Ginto Zac and Unique Kaleesi collided on the first turn, checking Ginto Zac. Gallo Allen checked off Fascinated on the home turn. Woolly Warbo, Gwen's Pick and Unique Kaleesi raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr G George, the trainer of Luongo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Luongo last raced on the 24th April, 2015.  Mr George stated that Luongo was returning to race after a change of kennel and a new trainer.  Stewards noted Mr George's explanation.

Luongo, New Club Crawf and Maximum Melva were slow to begin. Cowboy Love and Saint Magic collided soon after the start, checking Saint Magic. Over Angry, Cowboy Love and Lektra Tily collided approaching the first turn, checking Over Angry and Cowboy Love. Saint Magic checked off Luongo on the first turn. Over Angry checked off Lektra Tily approaching the home turn. Cowboy Love and Maximum Melva raced wide in the home straight. Over Angry lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
