Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to S. Bonaccurso, the trainer of Maverick Blondie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Maverick Blondie last raced on 27th May, 2015. Mr. Bonaccurso stated that the greyhound was returning to race after being on season.
Alberino was slow to begin. Big Barking Bert, Prince Django, Aces High and Maverick Blondie collided soon after the start. Alberino, Belena Jake and Oscar De Snowman collided on the first turn. Prince Django, Aces High, Get Up Dinozzo, Alberino and Oscar De Snowman collided entering the back straight, severely checking Aces High. Prince Django, Get Up Dinozzo and Alberino collided in the back straight, checking Get Up Dinozzo.

Alberino was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
