Walk On By, Onto Jatt and Ima Lonely Girl were quick to begin.  Hy Guard, Onto Jatt and Allen Jeer collided approaching the first turn.  Hy Guard and Toothless Homer collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Onto Jatt and Major Moe collided in the home straight.

Eumeralla Magic was quick to begin.  Salesman was slow to begin.  Tear Away Lucy and Woolly Warbo collided soon after the start.  Magic Dance and Boris Winslow collided approaching the first turn, checking Magic Dance.  Vee Twelve marred the running of Eumeralla Magic on the first turn, checking Eumeralla Magic.  Boris Winslow and Salesman collided on the home turn.

Vee Twelve was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to J Maria, the trainer of the greyhound Vee Twelve regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Vee Twelve with marring.  J Maria pleaded guilty to the charge, Vee Twelve was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gallo Allen was slow to begin.  Howies Flyer, Shake 'Em Up and Ginto Zac collided soon after the start, checking Howies Flyer and Shake 'Em Up. Major Burst and Hill collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Major Burst, Howies Flyer and Ginto Zac collided on the first turn, checking Major Burst, Howies Flyer and Shake 'Em Up.

Hill was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rampaging Rosie, Barrier Reef and Two Snaps were quick to begin.  Girder Fork and Blue Boy were slow to begin.  Rampaging Rosie, Barrier Reef and Two Snaps collided soon after the start, checking Barrier Reef.  Rampaging Rosie and Girder Fork collided approaching the first turn, checking Rampaging Rosie.  Girder Fork and Two Snaps collided approaching the first turn.  Rampaging Rosie, Blue Boy and Benny Big Head collided on the first turn.

Knocka's Choir was quick to begin.  Despedida and Jackie Baxter were slow to begin.  Jackie Baxter, New Job Jimmy and Maximum Maddy collided soon after the start, checking New Job Jimmy.  Jackie Baxter and Maximum Maddy collided approaching the first turn, checking Maximum Maddy.

Kraken Conan was a late scratching at 1.50pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Pretty Boy Grigg and Noonbarra Joe collided approaching the first turn.  Belena Jake, Miss Rossi, Cudgee Destroyer and Magic Success collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Rossi.  Belena Jake, Cudgee Destroyer and Magic Success collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.

Proven Glady was quick to begin.  Starvin' Seagull was slow to begin.  Classic Caper, Ima Lonely Boy and Cruisen Billy collided soon after the start, severely checking Ima Lonely Boy.  Fury Bale and Cruisen Billy collided approaching the first turn, checking Cruisen Billy.  Fury Bale and Proven Glady collided on the first turn, checking Cruisen Billy and Proven Glady.

Tear Away Babe and Hashtag Danny were quick to begin.  Eumeralla Flash and Tear Away Babe collided approaching the first turn, checking Eumeralla Flash, Totes Amazeballs and Ultimate Cash and severely checking Thomeli Roar.  Tear Away Babe checked off Hashtag Danny on the home turn.  Tear Away Babe and Hashtag Danny collided approaching the winning post.

Thomeli Roar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left front and right hind legs.  No stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Cam, Any Silvers Bro and Major Spoils were quick to begin.  Pop Ya Bubble, Tail Pipe and Admiral Bay were slow to begin.  Pop Ya Bubble, Tail Pipe and Any Silvers Bro collided approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Cam, Admiral Bay and Puzzle 'Em collided approaching the first turn, checking Tail Pipe and severely checking Crackerjack Cam, Any Silvers Bro and Admiral Bay and causing Admiral Bay to fall as a result.

Admiral Bay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder and left thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Under Rule 74-3 the greyhound Admiral Bay will be required to supply a veterinary certificate from a ophthalmologist and complete a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
