Steward's Report
Alpha Hermes was a late scratching at 1:44pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Dr Ripped and Who Told Red were slow to begin. Dr Ripped checked off Darcon Dash soon after the start. Gardsman, Dr Brandon, Selynya Kev collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Selynya Kev and Darcon Dash which stumbled as a result. Gardsman, Ring The Bell, Dr Ripped and Who Told Red collided on the first turn, checking Dr Ripped. Selynya Kev and Darcon Dash collided on the first turn, checking Selynya Kev. Ring The Bell and Dr Ripped collided entering the back straight. Dr Ripped and Darcon Dash collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Darcon Dash became dislodged during the running of the event.
