Alpha Nemesis was quick to begin. Sunraysia Daily, Dream Portrait and Strawbs were slow to begin. Totally Lost and Destini Firebird collided soon after the start. Destini Firebird and Strawbs collided on the first turn. Sunraysia Daily and Smiley Girl collided entering the back straight. Sunraysia Daily and Smiley Girl collided on the home turn, checking Sunraysia Daily and Strawbs. 

A sample was taken from Alpha Nemesis - winner of the event. 

Dr Ragnar was slow to begin. Bartemius Crouch and Katie Riot collided soon after the start, checking Katie Riot which stumbled as a result. Kansas Bale, Allen Impose, Backline Willy, Dream Edition and Destini Wildfire collided approaching the first turn, checking Backline Willy and Dream Edition. Kansas Bale and Destini Wildfire collided on the second turn. Backline Willy and Dream Edition collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Kansas Bale and Dr Ragnar collided in the back straight, checking Kansas Bale. Destini Wildfire checked off Backline Willy approaching the home turn. Dr Ragnar and Allen Impose collided on the home turn.

Benny's Reality was quick to begin. Pirlo, Destini Inferno and Secretary Bird were slow to begin. Benny's Reality, Arejay Belle, Nikon Bale and Early Violet collided soon after the start, checking Arejay Belle and Nikon Bale. Benny's Reality, Nikon Bale, Destini Inferno and Secretary Bird collided on the first turn, checking all four greyhounds and causing Destini Inferno and Secretary Bird to race wide. Rolanda Hooch and Pirlo collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Rolanda Hooch galloped on the heels of Pirlo on the second turn. Arejay Belle and Rolanda Hooch collided approaching the home turn. Pirlo checked off Early Violet entering the home straight. 

Rolanda Hooch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Rolanda Hooch, Mrs. L. Cockrell regarding the greyhounds racing manners appraoching the second turn. After taking into account the injury sustained and the interference at that point of the race, stewards issued Rolanda Hooch with a warning.

Road To Vegas, Ripped and Emmett Ryker collided soon after the start. Both Sides Now and Emmett Ryker collided on the first turn and again on the second turn, checking Emmett Ryker. Road To Vegas and Midnight Timmy collided approaching the home turn.

Peragon Falcon, Vanger Bale, Twist Of Thunder and Grace Monica were slow to begin. Pendles Power crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Vanger Bale, Grace Monica and Twist Of Thunder. Scrubby Nichols, Pendles Power and Cousin Cosmo collided approaching the first turn, checking Pendles Power. Vanger Bale checked off Twist Of Thunder approaching the first turn. Scrubby Nichols checked off Cousin Cosmo on the second turn. Vanger Bale and Pendles Power collided on the third turn. Peragon Falcon and Twist Of Thunder collided on the home turn. Vanger Bale and Pendles Power collided on the home turn. 

Bekim Goddess and Montoey were quick to begin. Allen Mambo and Rozehill Lisa collided on the first turn. Rozehill checked off Bekim Goddess on the second turn. Quizmaster, Bekim Goddess and Allen Mambo collided on the third turn, checking Bekim Goddess and Allen Mambo. Bekim Goddess, Survivor Sal and Allen Mambo collided in the back straight. Akando checked off Quizmaster in the home straight.

Mr. S. Clarke, trainer of Simply Elite declared a new weight of 28.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Simply Elite last raced at 27.3kg.

Zelemar Storm, Simply Elite and Dr Des were slow to begin. Simply Elite, Hala Belle and Dr Des collided on the first turn, checking Hala Belle and Dr Des. Simply Elite checked off Stylish Shazz approaching the second turn. Zelemar Storm and Andiamo Neo collided approaching the home turn, checking Zelemar Storm and Stylish Shazz. Andiamo Neo brushed the running rail on the home turn. 

Kaitoke Diamond was quick to begin. Rules Apply was slow to begin. Just Wins and Wino Waves collided soon after the start. Dublin Bell and Kaitoke Diamond collided on the first turn. Thunder Chief and Hashtag Jordan collided on the first turn. Wino Waves checked off Hashtag Jordan on the first turn, causing Wino Waves to fall. Thunder Chief and Hashtag Jordan raced wide on the second turn. Dublin Bull and Kaitoke Diamond collided on the home turn, checking Kaitoke Diamond 

Wino Waves was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated right toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed 

Bells Are Ringin and Palm Tree collided soon after the start. He's Ma Bro, Uno Whirl and Bells Are Ringin collided on the first turn, checking He's Ma Bro and Uno Whirl. Vasile Boy and Irish Asteria collided on the first turn. Bel Air Spice and Vasile Boy collided in the front straight. Uno Whirl and Bells Are Ringin collided approaching the third turn. Palm Tree and Vasile Boy collided on the home turn. 

He's Ma Bro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Alpha Hermes was a late scratching at 1:44pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr Ripped and Who Told Red were slow to begin. Dr Ripped checked off Darcon Dash soon after the start. Gardsman, Dr Brandon, Selynya Kev collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Selynya Kev and Darcon Dash which stumbled as a result. Gardsman, Ring The Bell, Dr Ripped and Who Told Red collided on the first turn, checking Dr Ripped. Selynya Kev and Darcon Dash collided on the first turn, checking Selynya Kev. Ring The Bell and Dr Ripped collided entering the back straight. Dr Ripped and Darcon Dash collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Darcon Dash became dislodged during the running of the event.

Exhibition Trials: Margins trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 37.1kg. The time of the trial was 29:284. Stewards directed a post race sample to be taken from Margins.

Dalgetty trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 31.6kg. The time of the trial was 29.335. Stewards directed a post race sample to be taken from Dalgetty.

Full On Bling trialled over the 515m from box 3. weight 32.8kg. The time of the trial was 29.150. Stewards directed a post race sample to be taken from Full On Bling.

Dewana Result trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight. 37.1kg. The time of the trial was 29.245. Stewards directed a post race sample to be taken from Dewana Result.
