Aston Dettori was quick to begin. Fab Harriet was slow to begin. Gallo Allen and Vee Twelve collided soon after the start checking Vee Twelve. Allen Earner and Sweet Temptation collided soon after the start checking Allen Earner. Allen Earner galloped on the heels of Sweet Temptation on the first turn checking Sweet Temptation. Allen Earner and Vee Twelve collided approaching the home turn. Fez Bale and Gallo Allen collided on the home turn. Allen Earner checked off Vee Twelve on the home turn. Allen Earner and Vee Twelve raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Taj and Lulu Allen were quick to begin. Gunbarrel Twist, Margaret Jean and Jadu were slow to begin. Margaret Jean checked off Bekim Power soon after the start. Bekim Power and What's Up Trumps collided approaching the first turn. Gunbarrel Twist and Bekim Power collided on the first turn checking Bekim Power and severely checking Gunbarrel Twist. Media Muzzle and What's Up Trumps collided on the first turn. What's Up Trumps galloped on the heels of Media Muzzle on the home turn. Jadu tailed off in the home straight. Bekim Power checked off Margaret Jean in the home straight. Gunbarrel Twist raced wide in the home straight.

Gunbarrel Twist was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Jadu was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an infected spike wound on the left front foot and severe dehydration, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to On-Track Veterinarian Dr G. Goble, who stated that severe dehydraytion would have contributed to the greyhound's poor performance tonight. Stewards noted Dr. Goble's observations and took no further action.

Nila Bale was quick to begin. Dundee Osprey was slow to begin. Allen Marky and Fast Boloney collided soon after the start. Unique Ghosty and Benny Big Head collided on the first turn. Dundee Osprey, Unique Ghosty, Benny Big Head and Wise Maple collided on the first turn checking Benny Big Head and Wise Maple. Benny Big Head and Wise Maple collided approaching the home turn checking Wise Maple. Benny Big Head and Fast Boloney collided approaching the home turn.

Wise Maple was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both shoulder muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dream Dazzler and Dyna Jonah were quick to begin. Promise Land was slow to begin. Dyna Jonah and Dream Dazzler collided approaching the first turn. Rampaging Rosie checked off It's A Movin' approaching the first turn causing Rampaging Rosie and Promise Land to fall. It's A Movin' and Spritely Boy collided on the first turn. Dream Dazzler checked off Allen Whirly on the first turn. Dream Dazzler checked off Spritely Boy in the home straight.

Rampaging Rosie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. J. Ambrosini, handler of Zipping Jet declared a new weight of 33.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zipping Jet last raced at 34.6kg.

Bush Caviar was slow to begin and raced wide in the back straight. Zipping Jet and Same Day collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Valoshore, Zipping Jet and Same Day collided on the first turn checking Zipping Jet. Valoshore and Lektra Hahn collided on the first turn. Bush Caviar raced wide in the home straight.

Tangible, Blue Revolver, Apatchy Racer and Dina Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Tangible and Dina Bale and causing Dina Bale to stumble. Tangible raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Kiernan, trainer of Apatchy Racer, and reminded him of his responsibilities in ensuring that he wears the correct numbered handlers bib for parading. 

Eumeralla Donny was slow to begin. Ravager Bale, Phaser Bale and Compelling collided on the first turn checking Eumeralla Donny and Ravager Bale. Eumeralla Donny checked off Compelling on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Hail Storming - the winner of the event.

Stop Moochin' was a late scratching at 6:26pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Chrichton Bale was slow to begin. Jenkins Bale and Conspiracy collided on the first turn. Governor Bale checked off Jenkins Bale on the first turn. Gaelic Peter raced wide in the home straight.

Dream Date was a late scratching at 12:04pm due to injury (lameness) (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shiny New was slow to begin. Golden Swan and Sunny Breaks collided approaching the first turn checking Golden Swan. Sunny Breaks, Dyna Fame, Darra Ash and Sea Winds collided on the first turn severely checking Darra Ash which collided with Shiny New. Dyna Fame checked off Sunny Breaks on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Dyna Fame checked off Sea Winds in the home straight. 

Heaps Of Boloney and Maximum Melva collided soon after the start checking Heaps Of Boloney. Northern Ghost and Lady Juar collided approaching the first turn. Northern Ghost galloped on the heels of Crackerjack Cam approaching the home turn. Northern Ghost raced wide approaching the home turn severely checking Amlin's Magic and Heaps Of Boloney. Northern Ghost raced wide on the home turn checking Heaps Of Boloney.

Northern Ghost was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Amilin's Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the left lip, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Heaps Of Boloney was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Fury Bale and Mumbles Murray were slow to begin. Fury Bale, Mumbles Murray and Fear The Best collided soon after the start checking Mumbles Murray. American Girl amd Jackie Baxter collided approaching the home turn. Fear The Best checked off Dyna Malaise in the home straight. Fury Bale and Fear The Best collided in the home straight.

Ms. S. Ferguson, trainer of Ima Lonely Boy declared a new weight of 30.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ima Lonley Boy last raced at 31.6kg.

Grand Slam Diva was quick to begin. Daphne's Party and Bloss's Blitzen collided soon after the start. Victory Cruise, Iyliss Bale and Daphne's Party. Bloss's Blitzen faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Victory Cruise and Iyliss Bale collided on the home turn.

Bloss's Blitzen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing to the left front foot and a sprained left hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
