Bit Iffy was slow to begin. Flying Casey, Kifinti and Hersi collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Casey and Kifinti. Specify and Tarn Star collided on the first turn checking Tarn Star. Kifinti and Tarn Star collided approaching the home turn severely checking Tarn Star. Flying Casey and Bit Iffy collided several times approaching the home turn.
Tarn Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hock and a torn right stopper. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
