Tronald Trump and Doogie Boy were slow to begin. Quicker Than Bev and Tronald Trump collided soon after the start. Sierra and Dyna Jorah collided approaching the first turn checking Sierra. Airball, Sierra and Doogie Boy collicded on the first turn. Sierra and Doogie Boy collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Sierra. Quicker Than Bev checked off Doogie Boy entering the back straight. Airball eased and collided with Wince Allen approaching the home turn. Quicker Than Bev contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Airball was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr C. Schlensog, the representative of the greyhound Airball regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Airball with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Schlensog pleaded guilty to the charge, Airball was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Dyna Jorah - the winner of the event.

Limburg Boyker and Racine Bale were slow to begin. Dyna Corinth and Allen Impose collided soon after the start. Racine Bale checked off Deceptive Pace approaching the first turn. Carbon Racer and Allen Impose collided several times approaching the first turn. Limburg Boyker checked off Racine Bale approaching the first turn. Dyna Corinth collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Corinth and Racine Bale collided on the first turn checking Racine Bale. Dyna Corinth and Limburg Boyker collided approaching the second turn. Racine Bale checked off Dyna Corinth entering the back straight. Limburg Boyker and Dyna Corinth collided on the third turn.

Racine Bale was vetted following the event and after being revetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps and both hips, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dulcet Sound, Coffee Elizabeth and Allen Odyssey were slow to begin. Dulcet Sound and Coffee Elizabeth collided soon after the start checking Queen Elma. Queen Elma checked off Dulcet Sound approaching the first turn. Fade Away and Lippy Bale collided on the first turn checking Lippy Bale which raced wide as a result. Coffee Elizabeth and Allen Odyssey raced wide approaching the second turn. Dulcet Sound checked off Coffee Elizabeth on the third turn. Fade Away and Dyna Emma collided approaching the home turn.

Lippy Bale was vetted following the event and after being revetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Media Muzzle, Princess Strike, Hashtag Redbacks, Baltic Valhalla and Baltic Charm were slow to begin. Nebraska Allen, Baltic Valhalla, Media Muzzle and Princess Strike collided on the first turn checking Media Muzzle, Baltic Valhalla and Princess Strike. Hashtag Redbacks and Media Muzzle collided on the first turn. Media Muzzle and Baltic Valhalla collided approaching the third turn. Hashtag Redbacks checked off Surfer Dudley in the back straight checking Media Muzzle and Baltic Charm. Princess Strike anad Baltic Valhalla collided approaching the home turn. Baltic Charm and Surfer Dudley collided on the home turn checking Surfer Dudley.

Hardaway Tiara, Rocka Hula Baby and Bel Air Spice were slow to begin. Hardaway Tiara and Rocka Hula Baby collided soon after the start. Pepper Fozz, Hardaway Tiara and Rocka Hula Baby collided approaching the first turn. Pepper Fozz, Irish Asteria, Bel Air Spice and Hardaway Tiara collided on the first turn checking Pepper Fozz, Irish Asteria and Hardaway Tiara. Hilltop Senorita and Bel Air Spice collided on the second turn.

A pre race sample was taken from Silent Fletch.

Charlie Pearce and Dory Bale were slow to begin. Silent Fletch, Iona Muffin Top, Deadly Pace and Macalister Sam collided soon after the start checking Iona Muffin Top and Deadly Pace. Oscar De Snowman, Voight and Silent Fletch collided approaching the first turn checking Voight. Iona Muffin Top checked off Silent Fletch approaching the first turn checking Charlie Pearce. Oscar De Snowman, Silent Fletch and Macalister Sam collided on the first turn, severely checking Charlie Pearce which stumbled and causing Silent Fletch to fall. Dory Bale checked off Macalister Bale on the third turn. Voight checked off Macalister Sam in the home straight. Iona Muffin Top checked off Voight in the home straight.

Silent Fletch was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Charlie Pearce was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Iona Muffin Top was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning Mr M. Delbridge, the trainer of Iona Muffin Top regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. 

Jindara was slow to begin. Trace Amount and Black Velcro collided soon after the start. Hala Belle, Hot Gold, Evers Bale, Trace Amount and Black Velcro collided on the first turn checking Hala Belle, Black Velcro, Hot Gold and Trace Amount. Hala Belle and Black Velcro collided in the front straight. Black Velcro checked off Jindara on the fourth turn. Jindara and Trace Amount collided approaching the home turn. Hala Belle and Black Velcro collided in the home straight.

Following the event, Judges inadvertantly semaphored the incorrect winning time of 44.63. The time was adjusted to the correct winning time of 34.53 before All Clear was given.

Agility and Dyna Alchemist were slow to begin. Julie Bale checked off High Class soon after the start. Athos and Beckenbauer collided approaching the first turn. High Class, Athos and Beckenbauer collided on the first turn. Zanpa Bale checked off High Class on the first turn checking Zanpa Bale, Agility, Julie Bale and Dyna Alchemist. High Class, Athos and Beckenbauer collided approaching the second turn severely checking High Class, Athos and Beckenbauer and causing Athos and Beckenbauer to race wide. Zanpa Bale and High Class collided on the third turn. Zanpa Bale, High Class and Julie Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Zanpa Bale. High Class, Zanpa Bale and Beckenbauer collided on the home turn checking Zanpa Bale.

Zanpa Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Pretty Bale was slow to begin. Avatar Girl and Bebe collided soon after the start. Avatar Girl and Bebe collided approaching the first turn checking Bebe. Despedida checked off Minnesota Nice approaching the first turn checking Avatar Girl, Bebe and Punk Star Lass causing Avatar Bale and Punk Star Lass to race wide. Avatar Girl, Bebe and Punk Star Lass collided on the first turn checking Bebe and Pretty Bale. Minnesota Bale checked off Why Not Jojo on the home turn. My Girl Chloe tired in the concluding stages.

My Girl Chloe was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Secretary Bird, Garmon Bale and Allen Kentucky were slow to begin. Rogernator, Gabonia, Iona Cece, Secretary Bird and Allen Kentucky collided on the first turn checking Iona Cece, Secretary Bird and Allen Kentucky. Secretary Bird and Allen Kentucky collided on the home turn. Gabonia checked off Secretary Bird in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Hanging In There trialled over the 525 metres from box 1, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.31, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Hanging In There was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Emi's Boy Murph trialled over the 525 metres from box 2, weight 30.0kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.31, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths Emi's Boy Murph was Cleared and also Cleared to race in blinkers.
