Steward's Report
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 2:43pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Sale venue. Due to continous lightning, the Stewards abandoned the meeting (Races 8-12) at 3:10pm,pursuant to GAR 111(4). All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney will be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds as at the time of abandonment.
