Soda Man, Linco Bale and Magic Coups were slow to begin.  Pomp Fiction crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Dark Jameson and Fearless Flyer, severely checking Fearless Flyer.  Paranoia and Dark Jameson collided approaching the first turn checking Paranoia.  Fearless Flyer checked off Magic Coups on the first turn and raced wide.  Dr. Shiki and Linco Bale collided on the first turn.  Paranoia checked off Dark Jameson approaching the second turn.  Dr. Shiki checked off Paranoia on the second turn.  Paranoia and Linco Bale collided on the home turn.

Fearless Flyer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Linco Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gaucho, Allen Terminator and Allen Punter were slow to begin.  Quantum Bale, Allen Terminator and Allen Punter collided approaching the first turn checking Allen Punter.  Gaucho and Allen Punter collided on the first turn.  Mepunga Joffa and Quantum Bale collided on the first turn, severely checking Quantum Bale and Allen Punter.  Mepunga Joffa contacted the running rail on the third turn.

Mepunga Joffa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

An Out Of Competition sample was taken from Reichenbach engaged in this event on 26 October, pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Stunning Success upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Irinka Alf was slow to begin.  Burn One Down, Stunning Success and Dublin Bull collided soon after the start checking Burn One Down and Dublin Bull.  Burn One Down and Dublin Bull collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kuta's Lad and Allen Portland collided on the first turn and again entering the front straight checking Kuta's Lad.  Kuta's Lad and Reichenbach collided in the back straight checking Kuta's Lad.  Allen Marky checked off Burn One Down on the fourth turn.

Samples were taken from the following placegetters:  Burn One Down (1st) and Allen Marky (2nd).

Alpha Demeter was quick to begin.  Slick Ice checked off Alpha Demeter soon after the start.  Slick Ice and Black Mumbo collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Unlawful Entry checked off Aston Bolero approaching the first turn.  Yanong checked off Pantera Nera approaching the first turn.  Bruce Tycoon and Yanong collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Slick Ice, Black Mumbo and Unlawful Entry collided on the first turn checking Unlawful Entry, severely checking Bruce Tycoon which severely checked Yanong and Black Mumbo, causing both greyhounds to stumble.  Black Mumbo lost considerable ground as a result.  Pantera Nera and Alpha Demeter collided approaching the second turn.  Bruce Tycoon and Slick Ice collided on the third turn checking Bruce Tycoon.

Black Mumbo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Aqua Cheetah upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

A pre-race sample was taken from Harlem Shake upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

A pre race sample was taken from Credit Entry.

Aston Ryder was slow to begin.  Militant Man, Aqua Cheetah, Smokester and Harlem Shake collided approaching the first turn checking Militant Man and Aqua Cheetah, severely checking Smokester.  Aqua Cheetah, Dr. Melezar and Aston Ryder collided on the first turn.  Militant Man and Credit Entry collided on the first turn checking Militant Man, Credit Entry and Aston Ryder which raced wide as a result.  Dr. Melezar was held up for a run on the third turn.  Smokester and Credit Entry collided on the third turn.

Out Of Competition samples was taken from Buck Forty, Aeroplane Tommy, Pop The Cork and Hakanui (reserve not required) engaged in this event on 26 October, pursuant to GAR 79A.

Aeroplane Tommy was slow to begin.  Silverali and Brad Hill Billy collided soon after the start.  Buck Forty, Aeroplane Tommy, Silverali, Brad Hill Billy and Margins collided on the first turn checking Aeroplane Tommy, Silverali, Brad Hill Billy and Margins.  Silverali and Brad Hill Billy collided on the first turn checking Silverali.  Aeroplane Tommy, Brad Hill Billy and Margins collided entering the front straight checking Brad Hill Billy and Margins.  Aeroplane Tommy and Margins collided on the home turn checking Margins.

Eaton Bale and Gardsman were slow to begin.  To The Galo's checked off Haristotle approaching the first turn.  Moore Of Darcy and To The Galo's collided on the first turn.  Indi Allen, Airbound and Eaton Bale collided on the first turn checking Gardsman and Eaton Bale.  Indi Allen and Airbound collided on the third turn.  Airbound and Gardsman collided on the home turn.  Moore Of Darcy and Indi Allen collided in the home straight.

Why Not Jojo and Dr. Darkrai were quick to begin.  Pee Cripps, Big Easy Red and Dr. Compulsion collided soon after the start.  Lunar Eclipse, Pee Cripps and Big Easy Red collided approaching the first turn.  Houston Bale and My Boy Ollie collided approaching the first turn.  Houston Bale, My Boy Ollie, Lunar Eclipse, Pee Cripps and Big Easy Red collided on the first turn checking My Boy Ollie, Lunar Eclipse and Big Easy Red.  Lunar Eclipse checked off Big Easy Red approaching the second turn.  Pee Cripps and Dr. Compulsion collided on the second turn.  Pee Cripps checked off Dr. Compulsion on the third turn.  Why Not Jojo checked off Dr. Darkrai on the home turn.

Lunar Eclipse was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
