Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Hastie the trainer of Mystic Cloud regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Mystic Cloud last raced on 31/01/16. Mrs. Hastie stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hamstring injury and being on season. Mystic Cloud trialled over 400 metres from box 1, weight 25.6kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.06 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths. Mystic Cloud was cleared.
