Woodleigh Girl and Why Not Josie were quick to begin.  Scarlet Evader and Nitric Acid were slow to begin.  Woodleigh Girl and Rickie Metisse collided approaching the home turn checking Woodleigh Girl, Rickie Metisse and Why Not Josie.  Woodleigh Girl and Rickie Metisse collided on the home turn checking Rickie Metisse.  Scarlet Evader and Why Not Josie raced wide on the home turn.  Why Not Lyn and Nitric Acid collided approaching the winning post.

Motors Too Fast was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Doogee was quick to begin.  Madam Russo was slow to begin.  White With One and Order In Line collided soon after the start causing Order In Line to fall checking Madam Russo.  Santana and Doogee collided on the first turn checking Santana.

Order In Line was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder and neck, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Three Scoops was quick to begin.  Ninetymile Toby and Lisburn Star were slow to begin.  Three Scoops crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Perry White and severley checking Whittle Mikado.  Whittle Mikado galloped on Lisburn Star on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Three Scoops was checked off Kilmany Flyer on the first turn.  Ninetymile Toby and Little Written collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Whittle Mikado and Perry White raced wide on the home turn.

Sage Jay was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it  was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured back, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory trial results (GAR 77A):-

Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Hastie the trainer of Mystic Cloud regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Mystic Cloud last raced on 31/01/16.  Mrs. Hastie stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hamstring injury and being on season.  Mystic Cloud trialled over 400 metres from box 1, weight 25.6kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.06 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths.  Mystic Cloud was cleared.

Satisfactory trial results:-

Special Member trialled over 400 metres from box 2, weight 33.4kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.06 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.25 lengths.  Special Member was cleared.
