Survino was slow to begin. Kashmir Cashe and Dortmunder collided soon after the start checking Dortmunder. Survino and Why Not George collided soon after the start severely checking Why Not George. Prestwick, Destini Seajewel and Trigger Lee collided approaching the first turn checking Prestwick. Dortmunder and Survino collided approaching the home turn. Dortmunder checked off Survino in the home straight. Why Not George raced wide in the home straight.
Why Not George was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
