Admiral Bay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, the left groin and right metatarsal, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs. E. Vigor regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Next Grange.  Stewards directed that Next Grange be boxed first in future events.

Allen Journo was quick to begin. Dyna Willem checked off Top Weight soon after the start. Bounty, Top Weight and Frozen Nitro collided approaching the first turn. Bella Rico, Top Weight, Bounty and Rockstar Max collided on the first turn, checking Rockstar Max and Bounty. Allen Journo and Bella Rico collided approaching the home turn.

Rockstar Max was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triangles, the right abductor and the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
