Neliel Bale and Cowboy Jury collided soon after the start checking Cowboy Jury. Neliel Bale checked off Gotta Rush approaching the first turn. Chelsea Drogba checked off Gotta Rush approaching the first turn. Chelsea Drogba, Minority and Smooth Silver collided on the first turn checking Minority and Uncool Albert. Minority clipped the heels of Neliel Bale approaching the home turn severely checking Minority which fell as a result. Swazza's Rocket checked off Smooth Silver approaching the home turn.
Minority was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Swazza's Rocket, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
