Quisp Bale was a late scratching at 2:51PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.

You Bug Me and Kept In Suspense were quick to begin. Dr. Simon, Vanderville Girl and Bambalam Brandy collided approaching the first turn. You Bug Me, Melrose Drive and Hi Ho Geronimo collided on the first turn, checking Bambalam Brandy and severely checking Melrose Drive. Venderville Girl checked off Dr. Simon approaching the winning post.

Melrose Drive was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid, right triangle and left monkey muscles, a three day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.N. Sheppard, the handler of the greyhound Snoop Junior regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Snoop Junior last raced on 13th April 2016. Mr. Sheppard stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a Left Stopper injury.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Hey Alio Fozzio a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Bambalam Emma and Kraken Betty were quick to begin. Kraken Betty checked off Bambalam Emma approaching the first turn. Vegas Again and Hey Alio Fozzio collided approaching the home turn. Kraken Ridge checked off Onya Elsa on the home, checking Vegas Again and Hey Alio Fozzio. Hey Alio Fozzio raced wide in the home straight. 

Lettuce Hold On was quick to begin. Tim Riggins was slow to begin. Tim Riggins, Calen and Dr. Illuminate collided on the first turn, checking Tim Riggins and Calen. Dr. Illuminate and Southwood Max collided on the second turn.

Tim Riggins was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Surfer. 

Don Lino was quick to begin. Twilight Butch was slow to begin. Yucatan and Big Roo Drew collided soon after the start. Flyin' Les Fergi and Yucatan collided soon after the start. Twilight Butch, Flyin' Les Fergi and Big Roo Drew collided on the first turn, severely checking Flyin' Les Fergi and Big Roo Drew. Twilight Butch checked off Big Bold Boomer on the second turn. Twilight Butch checked off Big Bold Boomer on the home turn.

Flyin' Les Fergi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained the greyhound sutained a right back muscle and left pencle muscle injury, a twenty-eight day stand down period was imposed. 

Mincin' Machine and Zambora Beau were slow to begin. Zambora Beau, Sketchy Nick and Eli's Jet collided approaching the first turn, checking Sketchy Nick, El Marny and Wise Maple. Mincin' Machine and Brazen Bull collided on the home turn. Mincin' Machine and Zambora Beau collided in the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Fiamatta.

Fiamatta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuried to the left shoulder blade and left deltoid muscle, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M. Morrissey, the trainer of Fiamatta regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. 

Bojack Kahn, Crackerjack Pest and Rusty Boy collided soon after the start, checking Crackerjack Pest. Dr. Yanma and Don't Kid Me collided approaching the first turn. Rusty Boy and Good Odds Jet collided on the first turn, checking Bojack Kahn and Crackerjack Pest. Dr. Yanma and Sofia The First collided on the home turn.

Windsor Prize and Bekele collided in the home straight. 

Mr W. Mcmahon, trainer of Dr. Toretto declared a new weight of 33.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Dr. Toretto last raced at 32.3kgs.

Dr. Toretto and Allen Clown were slow to begin. Dr. Toretto, Allen Clown and Roll 'Em Maggie collided soon after the start. Miss Georgia May and Silverdust collided on the first turn. Silverdust and Moore Of Darcy collided approaching the winning post. 

Silverdust was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Weightman, the trainer of Silverdust regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Allen Clown was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Sunday Sipper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hip and groin, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Bashful Babe was quick to begin. Swazza's Rocket, Black Paws and Ho Choi collided soon after the start. Ho Choi, Our Lilly and Patriotic Star collided on the first turn, checking Patriotic Star. Bashful Babe was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
