Steward's Report
Belle's Bounce was quick to begin. Lawn Mower and Bernmar Princess were slow to begin.
Miss Ninety Nine and Rozehill Sally collided soon after the start. Miss Ninety Nine, Rozehill Sally, Ashanti Bear and Geisha Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Ashanti Bear and severely checking Miss Ninety Nine and Rozehill Sally. Geisha Angel marred the running of Don's Lady in the home straight.
Miss Ninety Nine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Geisha Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Harding, the trainer of the greyhound Geisha Angel. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Geisha Angel with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
