Scull O'Reilly was slow to begin. Wot Price Laurie was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Scull O'Reilly clipped the heels of Sundae Smasher soon after the start. Sundae Smasher and Fat Wallet collided approaching the first turn checking Fat Wallet which stumbled. Fat Wallet and Wot Price Laurie collided on the first turn. Scull O'Reilly, Fat Wallet and Wot Price Laurie collided approaching the second turn checking Fat Wallet. Wot Price Laurie checked off Scull O'Reilly approaching the second turn.
