Stewards spoke to Mr K.Jones regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Miracle Maggie. Stewards directed that Miracle Maggie to be boxed first in future events.

Stewards spoke to Mr M. McDonald-Johnson regarding the direction that the greyhound Lil' Feisty be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Galloping Gem was quick to begin. Cruisy Limelight, Wolf Spy and Rich Azz Yew collided soon after the start, checking Wolf Spy and Rich Azz Yew. Cruisy Limelight and Bandsaw collided on the first turn, severely checking Bandsaw. Rich Azz Yew checked off Duchess Of Dalas approaching the home turn. Court Gift galloped on the heels of Windy Reg on the home turn, checking Court Gift and severely checking Windy Reg. Duchess Of Dalas raced wide in the home straight and collided with Wolf Spy.

Bandsaw was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Trainer Mr.S.Berriman (Woodcutter Stan) advised stewards the greyhound was resuming from an extended break due to an injury to the left back muscle. Woodcutter Stan last raced on 15.04.2015.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr P.Mathieson (Crackerjack Pest) after it was established he had placed the greyhound in the incorrect kennel. A warning was issued against Mr Mathieson. As Mr.Mathieson was unable to identify the relevant  kennel attendant no further action could be taken.

Danny Brook checked off Dawn Cruise on the first turn. Dynamic Groover checked off Southwood Laura entering the home straight. 

Mr.T.Whitford, trainer of Let's Say Hello redeclared a new weight of 34.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Let's Say Hello last raced at 36.1kg.

Darley Tuesday was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mouyong Jimmy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Starvin' Seagull trialled over the 450m from box 2, weight 31.0kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 25.50, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths. Starvin' Seagull was cleared.

Barellen Opal trialled over the 450m from box 8, weight 30.0kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 25.50, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.25 lengths. Barellen Opal was cleared.
