Convoy was a late scratching at 3.08pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Promise Land and Nitro Addiction were slow to begin. Starbright Solar, En Kay Gee and Firebomb collided soon after the start. Barjas, Starbright Solar and En Kay Gee collided approaching the first turn, checking Barjas. Promise Land and Nitro Addiction collided on the first turn. Barjas checked off Nitro Addiction in the home straight. En Kay Gee and Lord Regnar collided approaching the winning post.
