Stewards spoke to Mr R Taylor, trainer of the greyhound Gadga, regarding the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Gadga last started on the 24 May 2015.  Mr Taylor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels.  MrTaylor, trainer of Gadga, redeclared a new weight of 31.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gadga last raced at 30.4 kg.

Rowdy Richard and Maximum Kick were slow to begin.  Ultimate Cash, Spring Topaz, Bullboar and Gadga collided soon after the start.  Ultimate Cash, Spring Topaz, Bullboar and Gadga collided approaching the first turn, checking Spring Topaz and Bullboar.  Maximum Kick and Gadga collided approaching the first turn.  Rowdy Richard and Bullboar collided on the first turn, checking Bullboar which collided with Spring Topaz and Gadga.  Gadga and Crymelon Pink collided on the first turn.

Billy Bart was slow to begin.  All Inn Wingate and Crackerjack Cam collided soon after the start.  Billy Bart and Kinloch Creek collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Cam and Billy Bart collided approaching the first turn, checking Crackerjack Cam.  Crackerjack Cam checked off Kinloch Creek on the first turn and collided with Ultra Bright.  All Inn Wingate and Kinloch Creek collided on the first turn.  Kinloch Creek checked off All Inn Wingate approaching the home turn.  All Inn Wingate and Kinloch Creek collided in the home straight.

Aston Odious was quick to begin.  Arolok Ollie was slow to begin.  Smokester, Convoy and Add 'Em Up collided soon after the start, checking Convoy.  Smokester, Add 'Em Up, Maximum Melva and Crymelon Ruby collided approaching the first turn, checking Add 'Em Up and Crymelon Ruby.  Arolok Ollie, Smokester and Maximum Melva collided approaching the first turn.  Arolok Ollie checked off the heels of Aston Odious on the first turn and collided with Smokester and Maximum Melva, checking Smokester.  Convoy checked off Add 'Em Up on the first turn.  Add 'Em Up checked off Starbright Solar approaching the home turn.  Convoy and Add 'Em Up collided on the home turn.

Add 'Em Up was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre race sample was taken from Bannister Bale.

Ressler was slow to begin.  Brother Moses and Little Ginny collided soon after the start.  Brother Moses and Crackerjack Bob collided approaching the first turn, checking Brother Moses.  Bannister Bale and Crackerjack Bob collided on the first turn.  Little Ginny and Brother Moses collided approaching the home turn.  Brother Moses raced wide on the home turn and in the straight.

Jokowi was quick to begin.  It's A Blast was slow to begin.  Starbright Tara checked off Mademoiselle Sox soon after the start.  Mi Diablo and Jasmine Lilly collided soon after the start.  Mi Diablo, Starbright Tara and Lord Kitchener collided on the first turn, checking Starbright Tara.  Jasmine Lilly and Starbright Tara collided approaching the second turn.  Lord Kitchener and New Job Jimmy collided on the second turn.  Lord Kitchener and New Job Jimmy collided in the home straight.  It was noted that It's A Blast raced wide throughout the event.

It's A Blast was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zelemar Zest was quick to begin.  Fear The Fox and Inventor collided soon after the start.  Inventor and Lord Diamond collided approaching the first turn, checking Inventor, which collided with Fear The Fox, causing Fear The Fox to be checked and Inventor to fall.  Bursting Flames, Zelemar Zest, Mr Snackman and Lord Diamond collided on the first turn, checking Zelemar Zest and causing Lord Diamond to race wide.

Zelemar Zest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained thigh soreness, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Inventor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured lower neck, right shoulder and split webbing left hind, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mechatronic and Ever To Be were quick to begin.  Bryvon checked off Mecatronic soon after the start.  Eyes Adorable and Amercia Bale collided soon after the start.  Call Me Callahan, Ever To Be and Mechatronic collided approaching the first turn, checking Ever To Be, Mechatronic, Eyes Adorable and Bryvon.  Black Macoy checked off Kimmy Bale on the first turn.  Eyes Adorable checked off Kimmy Bale on the home turn.  Bryvon and Ever To Be collided several times in the home straight.

Olive's Gift was quick to begin.  Price Tag, Dellavedova, Villainous and Zonda Bale collided soon after the start, checking Villainous and Dellavedova.  Dilligent Miss, Price Tag and Zonda Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Zonda Bale.  Dilligent Miss and Price Tag collided on the first turn, checking Price Tag.  Olive's Gift, Zonda Bale and Crackerjack Hano collided on the first turn, checking Olive's Gift, Zonda Bale and Dellavedova, causing Zonda Bale to race wide and severely checking Bright Flame, which fell.  Olive's Gift checked off Zonda Bale on the home turn.

Forrest Max and Solar Rapid were slow to begin.  Barcia Beebee checked off Wood Cutter Stan soon after the start.  Galloping Gem, Monty Express, Crymelon Scylla, Crymelon Orbit and Solar Rapid collided approaching the first turn, checking Monty Express, Crymelon Scylla, Barcia Beebee, Forrest Max and Wood Cutter Stan.  Galloping Gem and Monty Express collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight.  Crymelon Scylla and Barcia Beebee collided in the home straight.  Crymelon Scylla and Monty Express collided approaching the winning post.
