Heads No Tail and Sweet Angel collided soon after the start.  All About Arby and Major Burst collided soon after the start.  Sweet Angel and Chelsea Star collided at the 200 metre mark checking Sweet Angel.  Chelsea Star and Shakey Benz collided at the 150 metre mark checking Chelsea Star.  Heads No Tail and Chelsea Star collided at the 100 metre mark.  Paleface Girl and Major Burst collided at the 50 metre mark.

Go Manic and Jive Bale collided soon after the start checking Quite Spritely and Jive Bale.  Quite Spritely and Summer Kate collided at the 250 metre mark.

Pursuant to GAR 104(7), Steward Miss D. Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event. 

Vane Bale, Blazing Apache and Final Deception were slow to begin.  Final Deception crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Legend and Blazing Apache collided soon after the start.  Dervil and Vane Bale collided soon after the start.  Blazing Apache checked off Legend at the 100 metre mark.

Avatar Ranger and Carlanna Jobe  were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Sillybilly Bling and Avatar Ranger collided soon after the start. Cosmic Pilot, Avatar Ranger and Loves It collided approaching the 100 metre mark.  Cosmic Demon faltered approaching the 100 metre mark checking Miss Jay Mac; Cosmic Demon lost ground as a result.  Avatar Ranger and Miss Jay Mac collided approaching the winning post.

Cosmic Demon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triangle muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Dragon Empire, Gustavo Fring and El Toro Loco were slow to begin.  Yellowrock Flame and Gustavo Fring collided soon after the start.  Inter Carmella checked off Dragon Empire at the 300 metre mark.  Gustavo Fring and Yellowrock Flame collided at the 250 metre mark.  Dragon Empire and Lektra Luther collided at the 200 metre mark.  Hugh Made Who and Dragon Empire collided at the 50 metre mark.

High Commando, Sultan Of Swing and Black Kaspa were slow to begin.  High Commando and Sultan Of Swing collided soon after the start.  Sultan Of Swing and Dozer Lad collided at the 300 metre mark.  High Commando and Laredo collided approaching the winning post checking Laredo.  Cosmic Daicos raced wide throughout the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Parsons and issued him with a warning regarding the use of his mobile phone and his inappropriate language in the kennel area following the event.

A sample was taken from Irish Connection, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Vandemaat, handler of Deadly Clear regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Deadly Clear last raced on 4th December 2014. Mr. Vandemaat stated that the greyhound is having its first start after a change of trainer and is returning from a metatarsal injury.

Deadly Clear was slow to begin.  Psycho's Wild crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Young Hawke, Mohinga Max and Hotshot Booker.  Stagger Express and Hotshot Booker collided soon after the start.  Mohinga Max and Psycho's Wild collided at the 300 metre mark.  Stagger Express checked off Snaphook Sticka at the 300 metre mark.  Stagger Express and Snaphook Sticka collided several times approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from Amlin Mystique, the winner of the event.

Gee Double You was slow to begin.  Lemon Patchwork and Pop Wright collided soon after the start.  Inter Lucy, Big Bad Dicko and Lemon Patchwork collided soon after the start.

Mr. Leigh, Cosmic Goldie and Andelven were slow to begin.  Sun Choice crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Cosmic Goldie and Andelven collided at the 300 metre mark.  Carlanna Sharna and Green Stone collided at the 300 metre mark and again at the 275 metre mark.  Carlanna Sharna checked off Dash Dash Dot at the 200 metre mark.  Cosmic Goldie and Green Stone collided at the 80 metre mark.

Major Gold was a late scratching at 2:33pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured left front toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Crystal Sapphire and Watsargo Sarge were quick to begin.  Spring To Mind was slow to begin.  Spring To Mind and Another Man collided at the 200 metre mark.  Spring To Mind checked off Another Man at the 150 metre mark.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Crystal Sapphire, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Simone, Trainer of Lektra Brave regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Brave last raced on 20th December 2014. Mr Simone stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after suffering a back muscle injury. 

Jukebox Hero and I'm Pumped were slow to begin.  In A Daze and Lektra Brave collided soon after the start.

A sample was taken from Jukebox Hero, the winner of the event.

King Spotalot was a late scratching at 11:45am due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards charged Mr W. Methven with a breach of rule GAR86(0), in that he failed to present the greyhound for its engagement in this event which in the opinion of Stewards was negligent. Mr. Methven pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Bull, Trainer of Carlanna Coyote regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Carlanna Coyote last raced on 24th May 2015. Mr Bull stated that he decided to give the greyhound a spell after it suffered an illness and injury. 

Mr. P. Bull, trainer of Carlanna Coyote declared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Carlanna Coyote last raced at 28.8kgs

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Campbell, trainer of Oscar's Champ regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Oscar's Champ last raced on 1st April 2015. Mr. Campbell stated that the greyhound is returning from a shoulder injury.

Mr. A. Campbell, trainer of Oscar's Champ declared a new weight of 33.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Oscar's Champ last raced at 32.1kgs.

Carlanna Coyote and Kallara Tipene collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Kallara Tipene, Cosmic Lady and Gotta Rush collided soon after the start.  Carlanna Coyote and Kallara Tipene collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  Make Us Magic crossed to the outside at the 250 metre mark.  Kallara Tipene and Cosmic Lady collided at the 250 metre mark.  Kallara Tipene checked off Cosmic Lady approaching the 200 metre mark.  Carlanna Coyote and Cosmic Lady collided approaching the 100 metre mark and again approaching the winning post.
