Dark Discovery, Arrival, Midfield Maestro and Liquid Force collided approaching the first turn, checking Dark Discovery, Arrival and Midfield Maestro and severely checking Liquid Force which stumbled as a result.  Sugar Noise eased approaching the home turn and collided several times with Le Grand Bleu.  Dark Discovery raced wide in the home turn.  Sugar Noise eased in the home staight and collided several times with Le Grand Bleu.  Dark Discovery checked off Sugar Noise in the home straight.

Liquid Force was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left and right hind legs.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to A Paraskevas, the handler of the greyhound Sugar Noise regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn and in the home straight.  Sugar Noise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sugar Noise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  A Paraskevas pleaded guilty to the charge, Sugar Noise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
