Cheque Her Out was quick to begin.  Caco Potion checked off Cee Jay Magic approaching the home turn.  Suzy Nitro checked off Squirto approaching the first turn.  Suzy Nitro and Caco Potion collided on the first turn, checking Suzy Nitro.  Squirto clipped the heels of Cheque Her out approaching the home turn.  Cheque Her Out, Squirto and Cee Jay Mac collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Cee Jay Mac which stumbled as a result.  Squirto and Cheque Her Out collided approaching the home turn.  Squirto crossed to the rail in the home straight, checking Cheque Her Out.

Cee Jay Mac was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dark Discovery, Arrival, Midfield Maestro and Liquid Force collided approaching the first turn, checking Dark Discovery, Arrival and Midfield Maestro and severely checking Liquid Force which stumbled as a result.  Sugar Noise eased approaching the home turn and collided several times with Le Grand Bleu.  Dark Discovery raced wide in the home turn.  Sugar Noise eased in the home staight and collided several times with Le Grand Bleu.  Dark Discovery checked off Sugar Noise in the home straight.

Liquid Force was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left and right hind legs.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to A Paraskevas, the handler of the greyhound Sugar Noise regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn and in the home straight.  Sugar Noise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sugar Noise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  A Paraskevas pleaded guilty to the charge, Sugar Noise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mausie was slow to begin.  Big Cole checked off Connemara Xav approaching the first turn.  Macrory checked off Mausie approaching the first turn.  Macrory and Connemara Xav collided several times from the first turn until the home turn.  Nordul's Hope and Mausie collided on the home turn.

Ernie Old and Next Grange were slow to begin.  Helga Bale, Next Grange and Breshia Bale collided on the first turn, severely checking Claretown Bart, Next Grange and Mepunga Nick and causing Next Grange and Mepunga Nick to fall.

Mepunga Ledger crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Aces High, Caustic Bale and Zac's A Sixpence.  Beau Mambo and Optimus Bart collided on the first turn.  Caustic Bale and Mepunga Ledger collided approaching the home turn.  Beau Mambo and Optimus Bart collided approaching the home turn.  Caustic Bale and Mepunga Ledger collided in the home straight, severely checking Mepunga Ledger which stumbled as a result.  Aces High checked off Zac's A Sixpence in the home straight.  Beau Mambo and Optimus Bart collided approaching the winning post.

Liam was quick to begin.  Dot Com Diesel, Agility, Absolute Silence and Selynya Kev collided approaching the first turn, checking Agility and Selynya Kev.  Chief Brit and Absolute Silence collided on the first turn, checking Absolute Silence.  Agility and Absolute Silence collided approaching the home turn, checking Agility.  Selynya Kev and Absolute Silence collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to K. Tirchett, the trainer of Argyle Diamond regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Argyle Diamond last raced on 28th May, 2015. Mr. Tirchett stated that the greyhound was new to his kennel. Mr. Tirchett also declared a new weight of 32.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Argyle Diamond last raced at 30.9kg.
