Stewards spoke to K. Greenough, the Trainer of Allkel to Excel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Allkel to Excel last raced on 7th June 2015. Mr. Greenough stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after suffering from an injured metatarsal.
White Spyro was quick to begin. Tobias Kelton and Texas Titan were slow to begin. Light 'Em Up crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. White Spyro galloped on the heels of Allkel To Excel at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Tobias Kelton and Texas Titan collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the winning post.
A sample was taken from Allkel To Excel - the winner of the event.
Banged Up Bill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
