Stewards spoke to B. Bravo, the Representative of Ride The Rails regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ride The Rails last raced on 2nd June 2015. Mr. Bravo stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after suffering from an injured stopper bone.
West On Delly and Ride The Rails collided soon after the start, causing Ride The Rails to collide with Ultima Bale. Unleash Hell and West On Delly collided at the 300m mark, checking both greyhounds. Wadelock Latte and Jukebox Hero collided at the 250m mark. Ride The Rails checked off Wadelock Latte approaching the 150m mark.
