Kennels closed 7 minutes late due to a technical issue with fastrack. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Chircop, the trainer of the greyhound Ima Tornado regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ima Tornado last raced on 9th February 2015.  Mr. Chircop stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after illness and an injury to its webbing.

Spritely Jack was slow to begin.  Going For Broke, Rioli's Show, Ima Tornado and Miss Capone collided soon after the start checking Rioli's Show and Ima Tornado.  Eight Hours, Going For Broke, Miss Capone and Hill collided on the first turn checking Hill, Eight Hours and Going For Broke.  Spritely Jack checked off Hill on the first turn.  Going For Broke and Hill collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Going For Broke and Hill raced wide and collided entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Spritely Jack raced wide throughout the event.

Hamilton and Big Steal were quick to begin.  Spare Parts, Arolok Hobo and Iannone were slow to begin.  Arolok Hobo and Iannone collided soon after the start.  Hamilton and Oh Lele Suzi collided soon after the start.  Hamilton and Big Steal collided approaching the first turn checking Hamilton.  Hamilton and Oh Lele Suzi collided on the first turn.

Supersonic Bob was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Bartemius Crouch on the 27/8/15.

Mr. L. Wright, owner of the greyhound Mystique Speedy declared a new weight of 29.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Mystique Speedy last raced at 30.7kgs.

Ladies Kay and Kayla's Effort were quick to begin.  Oriental Lord and Mystique Speedy collided soon after the start checking Mystique Speedy.  Oriental Lord and Kayla's Effort collided approaching the first turn checking Kayla's Effort.  Lektra Glitter and Kayla's Effort collided on the first turn.  Bobby Tron checked off Ladies Kay on the first turn.

Matlin's Tornado was quick to begin.  Reap The Benefit and Able Chief collided soon after the start checking Able Chief.  Pen Shaw checked off Be Hopeful soon after the start.  Giddy Up, Reap The Benefit and Able Chief collided on the first turn checking Able Chief and Pen Shaw.  Be Hopeful and Matlin's Tornado collided on the first turn checking Matlin's Tornado and Soft Ballad.  Pen Shaw, Reap The Benefit and Giddy Up collided on the third turn checking Giddy Up and Reap The Benefit.  Giddy Up and Reap The Benefit collided on the home turn.  Matlin's Tornado checked off Soft Ballad on the home turn.  Reap The Benefit and Be Hopeful collided in the home straight.

Be Hopeful was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stinga Rebel and Golden Hippy collided soon after the start.  Danny Brook and Love Capers collided approaching the first turn.

Golden Hippy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder and right groin.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Scar and Coka Bach were quick to begin.  Not So Dainty was slow to begin.  Baroness Jill went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Baroness Jill and Cosmic Scar collided on the first turn severely checking Cosmic Scar which tailed off as a result.  Not So Dainty and Lady Juar collided approaching the home turn.

Deadly Mabilis (Blinkers) trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 8, weight 31.4kgs. The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.68. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths. Deadly Mabilis was not cleared to race in blinkers.
