Abbie's Dream was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Laboomba was slow to begin. Dixie Anne was quick to begin. Jacana crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Time's Up Tom, Laboomba and Carve. Laboomba and Carve collided approaching the first turn. Billy Beergarden raced wide on the first turn. Carve checked off Laboomba on the first turn. Billy Beergarden checked off Laboomba on the first turn. Paradise Punch checked off Time's Up Tom approaching the home turn, checking Southwood Jack. Laboomba and Paradise Punch collided on the home turn. Southwood Jack raced wide in the home straight.

Jacana was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle and spike wounds to the left hind leg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Dixie Anne - the winner of the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Mazzetti.

American Monster and Barjas were slow to begin. American Monster and Mazzetti collided soon after the start. Zipping Dermot and Uno Krypto collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Dermot checked off Hashtag Danny on the first turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. Liam Priestley and issued him a warning in regards to the displaying of his licence (GAR 16.2).

Oh Lele Peter and Show Bag Carter were slow to begin. Kirabilli Rosie was quick to begin. Vapour Caper, Lektra Hombre and Oh Lele Peter collided soon after the start. Hastag Jordan, Oh Lele Peter and Show Bag Carter collided on the first turn, checking Oh Lele Peter and Show Bag Carter. Reverie checked off Redhot Pursuit on the first turn. Hashtag Jordan and Vapour Caper collided approaching the home turn. Lektra Hombre raced wide in the home straight. Redhot Pursuit and Reverie collided approaching the winning post.

Sacramento Sal and Fluke Of Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking Senor Laurie, and severely checking Stompin' and Fluke Of Fantasy. Senor Laurie raced wide on the home turn. 

Stompin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Fluke Of Fantasy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed. 

Ataraxia, Blossom Noir and Good Odds Sammy collided soon after the start, checking Blossom Noir. Deadly Lyko, Sea Forever, Thomeli Roar and Crackerjack Cam collided soon after the start, checking Sea Forever. Crackerjack Cam and Deadly Lyko collided approaching the first turn, checking Deadly Lyko. Crackerjack Cam and Thomeli Roar collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Cam. Ginger Warrior and Ataraxia collided on the home turn.

A pre race sample was taken from Lektra Jewel.

Lektra Jewel, Tear Away Kuda and Beyond The Vally were slow to begin. Mepunga Atom was quick to begin. Lektra Jewel, Maximum Melva and Mag Spring collided approaching the first turn. Beyond The Vally and Mag Spring collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Atom eased on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. McDowall, the handler of the greyhound Mepunga Atom regarding the greyhounds racing manners on home turn.  Mepung Atom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mepunga Atom with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. McDowall pleaded guilty to the charge, Mepunga Atom was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Podium Finish trialled over the 390m from box six, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.28, the greyhound won by a margin of 8 lengths. Podium Finish was Cleared.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Greg Turnbull for his failure to retrieve the greyhounds Jacana (race 2) and Ripmac (race 3) from their respective kennels by the appointed time.
