Calm Bliss, Hy Guard and Mr. Alfie were slow to begin.  Free Throw and Glamorous Cheech collided soon after the start checking Free Throw.  Dyna Corinth and Calm Bliss collided approaching the first turn.  Free Throw and Lippy Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Lippy Bale, Calm Bliss, Mr. Alfie, Hy Guard and Dyna Corinth collided on the first turn checking Mr. Alfie and severely checking Calm Bliss, Lippy Bale, Dyna Corinth and Hy Guard; Lippy Bale, Dyna Corinth and Hy Guard raced wide as a result.  Lippy Bale and Calm Bliss collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Lippy Bale and Calm Bliss collided several times approaching the third turn causing both greyhounds to tail off.

Lippy Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Calm Bliss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Nitro Power and Fade Away were quick to begin.  Allen Impose was slow to begin.  Tronald Trump and Dyna Emma collided soon after the start.  Pinky Bale and Allen Impose collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Hake and Dyna Beta collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Hake which contacted the running rail as a result.  Dyna Beta and Nitro Power collided on the first turn checking Dyna Beta.  Pinky Bale and Tronald Trump collided on the first turn checking Tronald Trump and Dyna Emma.  Dyna Beta and Pinky Bale collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Hake checked off Tronald Trump approaching the third turn.  Dyna Beta, Fade Away and Pinky Bale collided on the third turn checking Fade Away and Pinky Bale.

Dyna Hake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

This event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to race 1 at Sandown Thoroughbreds running behind schedule.

Dyna Gabriela was quick to begin.  Fayette, Racine Bale, Coffee Elizabeth, Dyna Incept and Sisco Gillie were slow to begin.  Fayette and Racine Bale collided soon after the start checking Racine Bale.  Dyna Gabriela and Fayette collided on the first turn.  Fayette checked off Coffee Elizabeth on the second turn checking Dyna Gabriela.  Dyna Gabriela checked off Fayette in the back straight.  Dyna Gabriela and Dyna Incept collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn.

Racine Bale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Allen Kentucky and Zipping Coco collided soon after the start.  Black Velcro and Alpha Ares collided soon after the start.  Alpha Ares and Bourbski Fever collided soon after the start.  Stetson Lane and Black Velcro collided on the first turn.  Alpha Ares checked off Black Velcro approaching the third turn.  Allen Kentucky checked off Alpha Ares approaching the home turn.  Bourbski Fever checked off Black Velcro approaching the home turn.

Palm Tee went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Crackerjack Andy and Stylish Shazz collided on the first turn, approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Crackerjack Andy.

Grace Monica and To The Galo's were slow to begin.  Shintaro Junetsu and Some Tricks collided approaching the first turn.  Some Tricks, Shintaro Junetsu, Perfect Tess and To The Galo's collided approaching the first turn checking Perfect Tess and Shintaro Junetsu.  Perfect Tess, Shintaro Junetsu and Our Murray Grey collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn severely checking all three greyhounds.  Grace Monica and Cette Away collided approaching the second turn checking Some Tricks and severely checking Grace Monica.

Conspiracy was quick to begin.  Winfield Sammy and Keep Warm collided approaching the first turn.  Winfield Sammy and Cousin Cosmo collided approaching the first turn.  Ima Screw Loose checked off Jet Mikado approaching the first turn.  Jet Mikado, Rocka Hula Baby and Winfield Sammy collided on the first turn.  Winfield Sammy and Ima Screw Loose collided approaching the home turn checking Ima Screw Loose.

Montoey, Bannister Bale, Evers Bale, Nockabout Aussie and Hilltop Senorita collided approaching the first turn checking Bannister Bale, Nockabout Aussie and Evers Bale; Evers Bale raced awkwardly and lost considerable ground as a result.  Montoey and Hilltop Senorita collided on the first turn checking Montoey.  Bannister Bale checked off Montoey on the first turn.  Montoey and Bannister collided approaching the second turn.  Oops checked off Hilltop Senorita approaching the second turn.  Jen Zarr Go and Nockabout Aussie collided approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Bannister Bale checked off Nockabout Aussie on the third turn and collided with Hilltop Senorita.  Montoey and Bannister Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Montoey.  Evers Bale and Hilltop Senorita collided approaching the home turn checking Evers Bale.  Jen Zarr Go, Nockabout Aussie and Bannister Bale collided on the home turn checking Jen Zarr Go.

Evers Bale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Camilleri, trainer of Evers Bale regarding the actions of the greyhound approaching the first turn. Acting on their own observations, viewing the official replays and taking further evidence from Dr M. Bell, Stewards were satisfied that the loss of ground suffered by the greyhound was due to the interference received, and no further action was taken.

Silent Fletch and Our Zayney Nash were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Bel Air Spice checked off Macalister Sam on the first turn.  Paranoia and Macalister Sam collided approaching the second turn.  Paranoia, Macalister Sam and Silent Fletch collided on the second turn checking Macalister Sam.  Bel Air Spice and Our Zayney Nash collided in the back straight.  Bel Air Spice checked off Our Zayney Nash on the third turn.

Valoshore was a late scratching at 11.43am by Order of Stewards.

Stewards issued a charge to Mr T. Mitchell pursuant to GAR 86(o), in that as the person responsible for the greyhound Valoshore, he failed to present the correct greyhound for this event, which in the opinion of Stewards was negligent. Mr Mitchell pleaded guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr Mitchell guilty and issued him with a fine of $250.

Road To Vegas was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Garmon Bale and Allen Dynamo were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Bounce Pass, Garmon Bale and Allen Dynamo collided on the first turn.  Road To Vegas checked off Bounce Pass on the second turn.  Magic Coups and Indi Allen collided entering the home straight.

Anna Rose was a late scratching at 11:22am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. F. Strangio was fined the sum of $100.

Gorbachev was slow to begin.  Merlot Magic checked off Why Julie on the first turn.  Gorbachev and Merlot Magic collided on the first turn.
