Steward's Report
Snow Matter was a late scratching at 8.31am due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. Maureen Brown and reminded her of her responsibilities in relation to GAR23 (1)(a) after she failed to withdraw the greyhound Snow Matter prior to the appointed scratching time.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Glenn Rounds, the trainer of Miss Collectable regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Collectable last raced on 26th April, 2015. Mr. Rounds stated that the greyhound was returning from a left hock injury.
She's A Collinda was quick to begin. Charm Again was slow to begin. Charm Again and Miss Collectable collided approaching the first turn. Charm Again and Lopsided collided on the first turn. Charm Again was checked off Tekki Spader on the home turn.
Miss Collectable was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
A sample was taken from Miss Collectable - unplaced in the event.
