Bare Bones was quick to begin.  Amlin Jewel was slow to begin.  Shanlyn Hoss and Classic Moments collided soon after the start.  Classic Moments, Creative Rhythm and Sienna Storm collided soon after the start.  Classic Moments was checked off Creative Rhythm approaching the first turn.  Classic Moments and Locomotion collided approaching the home turn checking Classic Moments.  Sienna Storm and Locomotion collided approaching the winning post.

Shifty Joshua, Lohan and Media Muzzle were slow to begin.  Forever Vain, Lohan and Unique Ghosty collided soon after the start checking Lohan.  Media Muzzle was checked off Lohan approaching the first turn.  Forever Vain clipped the heels of Let's Win Cash approaching the first turn.  Forever Vain was checked off Let's Win Cash on the first turn.  Forever Vain and Lohan collided approaching the home turn.  Unique Ghosty and Back Slapper collided approaching the home turn.  Forever Vain raced wide on the home turn.  Let's Win Cash and Media Muzzle collided in the home straight.  Forever Vain and Back Slapper raced wide in the home straight.

Media Muzzle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

This event was hand timed - 26.05 secs.

Following the running of the event Stewards had a concern with the boxes (movement of the lid) just prior to the lure arriving at the starting point.  After reviewing the official DVD replay Stewards were satisfied that this incident had no bearing on the outcome of the event, the all clear was then given.

Ballymac Gunnar, Ringo Dingo and Bozumolu were slow to begin.  Ballymac Gunnar galloped on Madam Model approaching the first turn checking Ringo Dingo, Bozumolu and Madam Model and severely checking Ballymac Gunnar and Mystic Cloud.  Madam Model was checked off Ringo Dingo in the home straight.

Ballymac Gunnar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Desmond McPhie the trainer of Ballymac Gunnar regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Snow Matter was a late scratching at 8.31am due to injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Maureen Brown and reminded her of her responsibilities in relation to GAR23 (1)(a) after she failed to withdraw the greyhound Snow Matter prior to the appointed scratching time.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Glenn Rounds, the trainer of Miss Collectable regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Collectable last raced on 26th April, 2015. Mr.  Rounds stated that the greyhound was returning from a left hock injury.

She's A Collinda was quick to begin.  Charm Again was slow to begin.  Charm Again and Miss Collectable collided approaching the first turn.  Charm Again and Lopsided collided on the first turn.  Charm Again was checked off Tekki Spader on the home turn.

Miss Collectable was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Sloan Ranger, Oaklands and David John were slow to begin.  Ballymac Finola, Sloan Ranger, Oaklands, Pita Milo and David John collided soon after the start checking Oaklands.  Gaelic Peter, Miss Rossi and Gospel Lass collided soon after the start.  Sloan Ranger and Oaklands collided approaching the first turn.  Sloan Ranger was checked off Oaklands on the first turn.  Gospel Lass was checked off Gaelic Peter on the first turn.  Gospel Lass and Oaklands collided approaching the home turn.  Gospel Lass and Sloan Ranger collided approaching the home turn.  Sloan Ranger and Oaklands collided on the home turn.

Gamilla Go Girl and Hot Patootie were quick to begin.  Someday Lady and Pretty Bomb were slow to begin.  Bella Rico, Go Go Spaghettio, Miss Suzie Que and Miss Kadia collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Suzie Que and severely checking Go Go Spaghettio.  Miss Kadia and Someday Lady collided approaching the first turn.  Bella Rico and Miss Kadia collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Someday Lady was checked off Miss Suzie Que on the home turn.

Kid Audacious was quick to begin.  Two Stroke Pat was slow to begin.  Two Stroke Pat was checked off Fantastic Sid approaching the first turn.  Rockabilly King and Fantastic Sid collided approaching the first turn.

Punk Panther was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Black Pontiac and River Crossing were quick to begin.  Diamond Maxine was slow to begin.  River Crossing crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Coalville Tiger and severely checking Magic Jack Rose.  Mega Torque and Veetee Glamour collided approaching the first turn.  Diamond Maxine galloped on Coalville Tiger approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Veetee Glamour and Coalville Tiger collided enteirng the home straight.  Black Pontiac crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.

Gaelic General and Macey's Queen collided soon after the start.

Why Not Logan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Premier Hawk was quick to begin.  Assertive Seer and Silvertop were slow to begin.  Energy Force was checked off Tammy Baxter approaching the first turn.  Assertive Seer and Silvertop collided approaching the first turn checking Assertive Seer which stumbled.  Energy Force and Assertive Seer collided approaching the first turn checking Assertive Seer.  Neurological and Liam collided approaching the home turn.  Neurological and Gee Callan collided approaching the home turn.  Energy Force and Silvertop collided approaching the home turn.  Neurological was checked off Gee Callan on the home turn.  Energy Force and Silvertop collided on the home turn.  Assertive Seer and Silvertop collided in the home straight.

Zelemar Zonk was quick to begin.  Rusty Gun was slow to begin.  Worthy Reab and Amlin Mystique collided approaching the first turn checking Worthy Reab and Purple Flynn.  Purple Flynn and Rusty Gun collided on the first turn severely checking Rusty Gun which stumbled as a result.  Worthy Reab raced wide on the first turn checking Shanlyn Jed.  Purple Flynn was checked off Worthey Reab approaching the home turn.  Price Tag and Cosmic Tate collided on the home turn.  Purple Flynn raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Purple Flynn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left stopper tendon, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
