Stargate System, Ultimate Jack and Alouette Magic collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Jack, Alouette Magic, Beks and Feikuai Polly and severely checking Stargate System.  Shall She Rock and Mepunga Tiara collided approaching the second turn.  Alouette Magic and Ultimate Jack collided on the third turn.  Alouette Magic and Feikuai Polly collided on the fourth turn.  Ultimate Jack clipped the heels of Alouette Magic entering the back straight checking Alouette Magic.  Beks checked off Mepunga Tiara in the back straight checking Feikuai Polly.  Stargate System and Alouette Magic collided approaching the fifth turn.  Stargate System checked off Ultimate Jack on the fifth turn.

Allen Kentucky, Jayco Bale and Pirlo were slow to begin.  Wise Harvey and Marley Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Marley Bale and Why Not Sue collided on the first turn.  Allen Kentucky, Marley Bale, Jayco Bale and Pirlo collided on the first turn.  Allen Kentucky and Allen Jersey collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Allen Jersey.  Allen Kentucky checked off Jayco Bale in the back straight and collided with Pirlo as a result.

What's Up Herbie was quick to begin.  Houston Bale was slow to begin.  Igor Karkaroff crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Denali Prince, Alpha Ares and Allen Membo.  West On Xandi crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Houston Bale.  Allen Membo galloped on the heels of Both Sides Now on the first turn checking Both Sides Now, Denali Prince, Houston Bale and Allen Membo.  Denali Prince checked off Houston Bale on the third turn.  Houston Bale checked off West On Xandi in the home straight checking West On Xandi.  Both Sides Now raced wide on the home turn.

Zipping Chubbz was slow to begin.  Montoey, Moreira, Uno Sparti and Zipping Chrystal collided soon after the start checking Montoey, Moreira and Uno Sparti.  Daintree Puzzle, Montoey and Zipping Chrystal collided on the first turn.  Moreira, Daintree Puzzle, Montoey and Zipping Chrystal collided approaching the second turn checking Daintree Puzzle and Uno Sparti.  Yeah Whatever brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Daintree Puzzle and Zipping Chrystal collided on the second turn.  Uno Sparti contacted the running rail in the back straight and lost ground as a result.  Montoey and Zipping Chrystal collided on the third turn.

Uno Sparti was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Shirdon Connorae, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Shirdon Connorae was slow to begin.  Peregrin Stealth, Shirdon Connorae and Aston Gatum collided soon after the start causing Shirdon Connorae to stumble.  Tybellene brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Jindara checked off Aston Gatum on the first turn.  Shirdon Connorae galloped on the heels of Tybellene entering the back straight severely checking Tybellene.  Dewana Hitman and Aston Gatum collided in the back straight. One Cup Short checked off Aston Gatum on the third turn.

Wind Whistler and Dewana Result were slow to begin.  Zipping Geoff, Frattini and Dewana Result collided soon after the start.  Ima Misha Doll, Lamia Bale and Weblec Belle collided on the first turn.  Wind Whistler, Zipping Felix and Zipping Geoff collided on the first turn.  Wind Whistler and Zipping Geoff collided in the front straight and again on the second turn.  Lamia Bale checked off Weblec Belle on the third turn.  Lamia Bale checked off Dewana Result in the back straight.  Frattini, Zipping Felix and Wind Whistler collided on the fourth turn.  Zipping Geoff and Frattini collided approaching the home turn.  Zipping Felix and Frattini collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Pretty Bale, Absolute Power and Eyes Adorable were slow to begin.  Benzo Bale and Governor Bale collided soon after the start.  Governor Bale, Pretty Bale and Absolute Power collided approaching the first turn.  Twist Of Thunder and Chancy Be Smooth collided on the home turn.

George Sannette, Grace Monica and It's A Blast were slow to begin.  Black Velcro, George Sannette, Grace Monica and It's A Blast collided soon after the start checking George Sannette.  Vasile Boy and Black Velcro collided on the first turn checking Vasile Boy and George Sannette.  It's A Blast and Electric Star collided on the first turn.  Black Velcro and Electric Star collided entering the back straight.  George Sannette checked off Grace Monica approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Shaw, handler of the greyhound Drift Liner and issued him with a warning to ensure that his mobile telephone is either turned off or on silent whilst handling greyhounds.

Hashtag Jordan was quick to begin.  It's An Illusion checked off Why Not Jojo approaching the first turn and collided with Crackerjack Bob.  Hashtag Jordan and Big Bad Dicko collided on the first turn.  It's An Illusion and Crackerjack Bob collided on the first turn.  Big Bad Dicko and It's An Illusion collided on the third turn checking It's An Illusion.
